What do you know? Take a pretty good book, mix it with overacting pills and you get this shitty waste of time. That Dawson's Creek guy is horrible. The only interesting thing was the Victor montage which has nothing really to do with the story. I expected much more from the dude who directed KILLING ZOE.

ATM: Run Lola Run

First, let me tell you I'm not a big fan of Techno music - with the exception of DEVO who fucking rule. Anyway, from the first note I was drumming along for the entire 80+ minutes. I kept waiting for Lola to run into Renton from Trainspotting and start dancing w/ Mrs. Brownstone….but we'll save that for the sequel. This was a really cool movie, with zero down time to bitch about the subtitles (which I prefer even for English films). This is definitely worth a repeat viewing!

ATM: Hedwig & The Angry Inch

I've wanted to see this movie for years. I was not disappointed. Great story, great movie. I wish I could have seen the play.

ATM: Smoke Signals

Very interesting movie about finding yourself. Things I learned:

1. Native Americans love their Fry Bread. Sort of like Irish with their spirits I suppose. Oh yeah, alcohol is also a big thing on the reservations.
2. Geeky Native Americans sound like the people from FARGO. That was unexpected.
3. When Indians cut their locks, their hairline moves to just about their eyebrows - kind of weird.

Anyway, check out this flick - It's really good.
