Osos Lose a Heartbreaker

Looking to avenge a 19-1 loss earlier this season, LOS OSOS took the field to face COMMONWEALTH. The whole avenging the loss issue was dealt a harsh blow as COMMONWEALTH put up a snowman in the first frame. These guys could hit as the BEARS outfielders consistently played the warning track and that wasn't deep enough as at least 6-7 Kemp offerings left the yard. Our defense didn't help either, as errors were plentiful - outside of a few stellar plays by Jesse the sub at the hot corner. Our offense hit a whopping .360 for this game but we hit the ball hard all night. Case in point - late in the game, Short hits a rope down the first base line. There's absolutely no way the first baseman has a shot at this ball. The ball hits first base, shoots straight up in the air where the pitcher snags it and wins the race to the bag. That play perfectly summarizes our hitting last night. Final score in game one was 17-6 COMMONWEALTH. Ramsey led the way for the BEAR as he was a homerun away from the cycle. No other OSOS player finished with more than one hit.

Looking to avenge a 30-11 loss earlier this season, LOS OSOS waited patiently for HAZELWOODS to show up but these giant douchebags bailed, obviously intimidated by our effort in game one.
